I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for my friend and colleague
Michael Trimble.

 

Michael has distinguished himself both as a leading operatic tenor and as one of this country's finest and most successful teachers of singing.  When I left the East Coast in
1987 to take a professorship at the University of Michigan, I asked Michael to replace me
as Artistic Director of the New School for the Arts/New Jersey Opera Institute.  Under his subsequent guidance, both the School and the Institute have greatly expanded, thereby providing many more students with quality opportunities for public exposure and media attention.

 

Mr. Trimble's track record is impressive; his contribution to any program in which he becomes involved will prove the same.
